Refund Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Before class 1
Full refund
After class 1, before class 2 begins
Full refund
From class 2
No change-of-mind refund; the statutory cases always apply

We sell a seat in a dated, live cohort. If you decide it is not for you before your second class, you get back everything you paid. After that, you get money back only if we cancel, change or misdescribe what you bought — those cases are set out below, and nothing in the detail takes them away.

Before your cohort starts

A full refund, no reason required. Cancel at any time before the first live session of your cohort and you are refunded the entire amount you paid, including the tax charged on it. We do not deduct an administration fee, a processing fee, or a payment-gateway charge. We do not ask why.

After the first class

Still a full refund, if you ask before the second class. If you have attended no more than the first live class of your cohort, you may leave and be refunded the entire amount you paid, including the tax charged on it — no deduction, no fee, no reason asked. Ask before the second live class of your cohort begins.

Two points of fairness in how that is applied. Your request counts from the moment you send it, not the moment we read it: a request sent before the second class begins is in time even if we open it afterwards. And a class counts only if it was actually taught in full — a class we cancelled, cut short or moved does not count as your first or your second.

Watching the recording of the first class, or downloading its materials, does not take away your right to leave after it.

Once the second class has begun

No refund for a change of mind. From the moment the second live class of your cohort begins, we do not refund a decision to leave. You keep access to your cohort’s classes, recordings and materials for as long as your enrolment lasts. This does not affect any of the cases below.

A full refund, regardless of how far in you are

You are entitled to the entire amount back, not a part of it, in any of these cases:

  • We cancel or do not run the cohort. You choose: a full refund, or a seat in the next cohort of the same course at no extra cost.
  • We change the cohort materially after you have paid — the start date, the named faculty, the schedule, or the stated hours. You may accept the change or take a full refund. We will tell you about such a change; you should not have to discover it.
  • The course is not what we advertised it to be. Rule 7(3) and 7(4) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 make what we said about a service part of the service. If we did not deliver what the course page described, refusing you a refund would itself be unlawful, and we are not going to argue about it.
  • You were charged an amount different from the amount displayed, or charged twice, or charged for a cohort you never enrolled in. Tell us and we return the difference in full.

How to ask for one

Write to the Grievance Officer through the Grievance page, or by e-mail or telephone using the details published there. Tell us your name, the cohort, and that you want a refund. You do not need to give a reason, fill in a form we have not published, or speak to anyone on the telephone first.

Every request is logged as a complaint and issued a ticket number, so there is a record you hold too. We acknowledge it within 48 hours and resolve it within one month, under Rule 4(5) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. In practice a refund decision takes days, not weeks — one month is the outer statutory limit, not our plan.

How the money comes back

  • To the same payment method you used. We do not issue refunds as credit notes, coupons, or a balance in an account, and we will not offer you one instead of your money unless you ask for it.
  • We start an approved refund within 7 working days. How long the money then takes to reach you depends on your bank and card network, which we do not control; we give you the payment reference so you can chase it.
  • Tax is refunded with the amount. Any tax charged on the refunded portion is returned with it; we do not keep the tax on a service we did not deliver.

What we will not do

  • We will not make a refund conditional on your deleting a review or signing anything that stops you criticising us. See our commitment on reviews.
  • We will not impose a deadline you were not told about at the time of purchase.
  • We will not treat a refund request as a reason to withdraw access you have already paid for while the request is being decided.

If we refuse a refund, we will tell you in writing why, citing this policy. You are free to take that refusal to a consumer forum, and nothing on this page limits that right or requires you to exhaust anything with us first.

While payments are switched off

This site is not currently taking payments. Nobody has been charged, so nothing is owed. This policy is published in advance, deliberately, so that it is the policy in force from the first rupee rather than something written after the first dispute.
